Erykah Austin was born and raised in Washington DC, but has lived in Atlanta for 6 years. She graduated from Spelman College in 2015, where she studied film and fell deeply in love with the camera. She developed a passion for photography and cinematography, and began expressing herself from behind the lens. Erykah was accepted into the Collective Gallery Summer School, where she was able to thrive creatively and hone her skills under the guidance of Cam Kirk. She captures beautiful portraits and vibrant fashion with illuminated darkness. Erykah is constantly creating, charting her own path in the industry, and making bold steps towards an international career.
